Come on you Reds!
W&F 3. Boro. 1
Went to W&F last night and they were just to strong for Harrow. Borough running out 3-1 winners.
Thought Boro struggled to win the midfield but a great strike from Micheal Bryan in the first half put us in front but we could not hold n to it and went in 1-1 at HT.
Again another goal quickly conceded early in the second half ( how many times has that happened this season, do the opposition put something in our oranges at half time!!!) as usual as we failed to clear the ball properly, really soft defending, 2-1 and its costing us dearly in some of these games.
A late flurry after a triple substution for Harrow but right at the end Wingate broke on the counter as we pressed and it ended 3-1.
Good and noisy support from the Harrow Borough fans, usual dire refereeing from the officials for both sides.
Wingate and Finchley look a good solid side, fair play too them, and IMO will easy make the play offs while we start looking over our shoulders again.
Still at least Sean Cronin knew us Boro fans still 'love' him although unfortunetly he did have the last laugh.
Oh well onwards to the next game.

Agree with all of the above. We seem to take for ever to get from the halfway line to the edge of the opponent's penalty area, then not surprisingly the defence are back in numbers & organised. In the last few minutes a bit of pace & direct play created as many chances in 10 minutes as we had in the previous 80. Our passing at times is very good, but too many are so negative that we have the ball without hurting our opponents.

Yes, talk about a jeckal and Hyde season. I can't work out how we can win 4-0 last week with such style and flair after reading the reports and then yesterday be so obviously different.
I suppose that's football I guess !
I imagine Bakes is Scratching he's head about it as well.
