Boro 1 Swans 2

Went tonight only to see a last gasp winner see Staines take all three points. What a sickener !
Although on the balance of play they probably deserved it.
That's not to say Boro played badly , on the contrary we played very well for large parts of the game but when you're on a losing streak like we are on the moment you can't catch a break. Good goal from Shaun and up until we took the lead I thought it was quite an even match. Soon after though Staines started to dictate play with Melvin playing really well , making a couple of outstanding saves. But a combination of bad decision making, panicky defending and Swans pressure in the end did us in.
Staines looking a very good side I thought. Just hope Boro keep positive and keep playing football if we do the results will surely come.
Have a good one those going to Worthing.

Agree with all of EPTs comments, but for the 3rd game in a row I totally disagree with the substitutions. I'm sorry but the management clearly think Stanislaus has something that those on the terraces do not. He contributes nothing.
Also, bringing the young lad (Beggs) on when we had Kabba & McLeod on the bench was a joke, as was pulling Banya off.

Yes i would have preferred to have seen Kabba on instead of Stanislaus. The only reason I can think that choose him over Kabba was potentially more for his hold up play? However we seemed to be under a lot of pressure so perhaps Kabbas speed would have been more effective on the counter attack. It could be unfair to single out Beggs as we are on a terrible run and he is being asked to make an impact off the bench but I agree also that I was unsure about substituting Banya. We need a bit of luck and our fortunes might change. Keep the faith!

Yes must admit I thought the choice of subs odd for that sort of game. ( see my bad decision making comment, it wasn't only applicable to the players )
