Boro put in a good performance tonight against moneybags and title favourites Billericay Town and on another day we could easily have come away with a point.
But Ricay ran out 2 nil winners in the end.
Billericay certainly had a lot of possession and they werethe best footballing team in this league I've seen this season , but we defended well and until avery harsh penalty was given to Town mid way thro the second half I didn't think we were in that much danger.
We lost our concentration a bit on the second goal from a set piece corner but we we not out played afterwards.
Banya had a good effort saved in the second half and we had a couple of half chances that weren't converted.
In the end though , FT , 2-0.
Can't make the next two league games , have a good one those going.
Will make the cup at Harefield.

3rd tuesday night game in a row for me, and it seems to have been a carbon copy of the defeat away to dulwich. Good performances, undone by a dodgy second half penalty whilst not taking our chances. Dont seem to be getting the rub of the green at the moment, hopefully that changes with Bakes still in charge. Preddie looked very good back at CB.

Yes, i thought Boro played really well last night and deserved a point for the effort they put in. Defenders especially deserve credit.
I think our performances these last two Tuesdays and at Worthing on Saturday give us a lot of hope.
Only negative comment i could make about yesterday was that maybe O'Connor could have come on earlier. I think with Kabba and/or O'Connor up front we would have kept the ball better. Just a small observation as overall i think we can be really pleased with the performance.

I thought we played really well , defence was excellent, Midfield grafted as well as creating opportunities , Banya & Bryan had the better of them a few times . BUT we had a one man forward line who is incapable of holding the ball up or ever getting into a goal scoring position. So you have to feel sorry for the other 10 as they were playing a man short.
