Folkestone 1 Boro 3

This was the best we have played for a long while.. The home defence could not handle the pace & movement of Banya, Bryan , Kabba & Moss.
Minter had another excellent game behind a solid looking defence.
We were also denied a goal at 0-0 when the linesman ruled the ball had gone out of play when it clearly did NOT. before Banya crossed & a defender scored an OG.

That certainly is a brilliant result.
Amazing how we can beat or at least give top half of the table sides a run for their money (after all we even got praise from Glenn Tamplin) but we often struggle against sides around or below us.
I can't work it out .
Perhaps we do play better moving the ball quickly and on the counter ?

New centre half had a good game, Chinua Cole again excelled. Nobody had a bad game, but the forward line suddenly looked devastating. More encouragement was Howard Hall was there kicking a ball around in the warm up. Must also mention Marvin who was described on Folkestone's forum as being a 'show pony' they did however admit he played well. He certainly is the most entertaining keeper in the league.
