Boro 1 Tanners 2

Went again today and very hard to find or say anything positive at the moment :(
I'd hoped not, but, we've got to be one of the favourites to take that single relegation place come the end of April.
All you can do is keep encouraging the team, get behind them and trust we turn the corner.
Here's to a better 2018.

Some how Leatherhead let us back in the game & we had a few chances to nick a point. But let's be honest we were well beaten again.

Our Midfield were totally outplayed again.
Hopefully McLeod will be back allowing Cumberbatch to play further forward.
Moore isn't a left side Midfield player, round peg in a square hole.
Kabba looks nothing like the player we had last season, surely O'Connor gets a start on Monday.

I thought Leatherhead looked an average team for this division. But they had more enough in the tanks to beat us comfortably.
The officials were their usual , Ahem inconsistent standard for them and us. Although I thought their players rolled over and went down far to easily for my liking.

The Leatherhead 10 & 7 were the main culprits . It did them no good though as they probably should have had a penalty late in the 2nd but the ref had finally relised he was being conned.

Is it time to have a change? I've backed Steve during his tenure, he's done well on the limited budget we have but 2017 was pretty awful for Boro. Relegation, some really bad form. The season started very promisingly but we have been pretty poor since our defeat at Hendon. Perhaps a change of manager would give the club a little boost as it does for a lot of teams when they change manager. The problem is we will always have to hire a manager who is happy to work with a small budget and find willing players. I'm sure there would be a lot of applicants but is anyone actually capable of doing better? Perhaps so because the team aren't playing up to their potential., we have some good players, Bryan, Banya, Moss, Kabba, Cumberbatch and Preddie but they don't seem to play well collectively at the moment. If we have a poor January, I can't see Baker lasting despite our club being loyal to managers.

Enfield 3 Boro 0

We were totally outplayed again.

Steve Baker's priority at the half time was to head to the away end to have a go a Supporter who had made a negative comment.
FFS. we have the most placid Supporters in football. If he is really bothered by a few moans & groans rather than rally his beleaguered team, it's time to go.

I couldn't go today so can't really comment what happened at Enfield. But I really hope that the management and the team can turn it around but even I'm beginning to wonder now.
Its a result driven business like anywhere else and ours simply aren't good enough at the moment, if they keep playing like this its relegation, simple. They've got to get a grip.
As for moaning fans I'd rather be manager here than at the likes of Wealdsc#@m.
Their premier league when it comes to that !
