It was a vital win yesterday for us if you Like we won ugly but who cares.On reflection maybe reaching 5th and promotion is written in the stars because Steve brings Frank on and with virtually his first touch of the ball its in the net.Without that even l super optimist on this forum would have conceded 9 points a bridge too far.But we are still in there and that substitution we may Look back on in a months time and say that was the pivotal moment.l sure hope so! But l want to mention our travelling fans yesterday absolutely superb.l went with 20 or so by rail from Waterloo and yes the ferry from Portsmouth to Gosport.The hardest part of the day was navigating (a nautical term there!) The Gosport Ferries ticket machine for the ferry! Its always a pleasure travelling with our Loyal fans always plenty of smiles and banter and always an enjoyable day out.We had some toughies away recently but yesterday more than made up for it and just to see the delight on the players and supporters faces when we scored the winner was just fantastic and made that trip all the way to Gosport worthwhile.So well done to all the travelling fans yesterday you are credit to our great club.Come On You Reds!

You didn't need to mess around with the ticket machine for the Gosport Ferry. You can get through tickets to Gosport from any station in the country! It's cheaper too! You either go to Portsmouth Harbour and get the Ferry, or you go to Fareham and get the bus.

A group saver was £3 cheaper to buy Train tickets to Portsmouth Harbour then pay for the ferry separately

Thank you Alan Middlesex Wanderer for that! You would think a rail/sail option would be available as with the Isle of Wight .To be honest l was surprised not to see a proper booking office with staff representing Gosport ferries and just a couple of ticket machines that werent the easiest to use. But it was a fantastic day and l know all the fans who went to Gosport are grateful to you for organizing things so well and of course our Last gasp winner fantastico and that 1-0 scoreline just the job in the predict a score!

Thank you for that next time l go to Gosport l shall know! But l fear it may not be for a while cos we are going up and they are going down! Might play them in the trophy l suppose!

I predict that Gosport will stay up, and Harrow will still be in the Southern League - so you'll be back there in 2019/20.
