Hafed Al-Droubi, Josh Andrew, Lewis Cole, George Fenton, Jordan Ireland, Frank Keita and Adam Pepera all signed new contracts.
At least three more of last season's squad due to sign this week

Thats good news to keep most of the squad together.
I personally would go for Gary Ross as Goalkeeper and Lewis Cole l wouldnt keep but those are the managers call and Steve did brill Last season.
Just hope we can get 3 or 4 in to freshen things up.
A vocal Captain.Toughen up midfield.New Goalie and a Long throw specialist.
Cant wait for the new season!

Good news about Shaun a fine player.Personally l would make him Captain as l believe he has Leadership skills.
Micheal Bryan a talented player. Our fans player of the year no less.
Wish him well as a fellow Irishman for the new season!
Just hoping his goal output can improve a bit and can work on those crosses but talent there no doubt.

Looks like the bulk of the team has signed on for another season then, good news.
As everyone says, a few new signings to complement that set up and we should be in good shape when all starts up again in August.

Agreed Earlsmead part timer maybe 3 or 4 to freshen things up.
Find a Leader to demand more in matches Like Frome and Wimbourne etc when you have to win ugly if you Like.A bit of sledging and aggression needed when the chips are down.

Surely a couple of forwards are a priority?
Before the cricket scores registered at the end of season Boro averaged less than a goal a game for 2 months.
Need some raw talent up there who will actually cause opposition centre backs a problem.

Welcome to the forum Major.
Whilst you are not wrong that we had a baron spell in front of goal, it's only fair to judge the team over the whole season & we were equal top scorers.
Whilst we would all love another Dylan Kearney to be signed, we mustn't forget we had Moore, Moss & O'Conner all scoring plenty of goals, so if we resigned at least two of them we could do a whole lot worse.
Frank Keita came to the fore in the latter part of the season & I think he is likely to score a few from midfield too.

We have got to stick with Anthony O'Connor hes not the finished article and needs to work on his finishing but his pace and strength do worry defenders.l personally would sign an old fashioned No.9 good in the air and able to rough up opposition defenders.
Who that player is maybe some on the forum can suggest.
But thats what team needs.
Ryan Moss has been a good servant but some of his performances were way below par in some of the matches that really mattered so l personally would release him.
But weve got a good squad and we shall be up there challenging again next season!
So Come On You Reds!

Moss & Moore

Ryan Moss & George Moore have both signed contracts for another year.
I think that is very good news.
Most clubs would be delighted to sign a 20 goal a season player , we have 2 already
COYRs.

George Moore great news when hes focused and fit a very big asset to the team no doubts.
Versatile player who can play in a number of positions.
Ryan Moss has been a good servant but his form dipped in a number of crucial games.
So l personally would go more for an old fashioned No.9 not afraid to mix it and yes l would play a more direct game.
So l personally would not retain Ryan but thats the managers call not mine!

Good news, glad both have re signed (Moore and Moss)
Although I do agree with Terry a little bit, Mossy''s form was inconsistent IMO for the last few matches of last season.
But I'm sure both will be raring to go come August and will get plenty of goals between them in 2019/20.

Hello Earlsmead part timer.Ryans got to be more aggressive with the challenges with opposing Centre halves for the ball.l know hes a good finisher but l want him to be a bit more ruthless especially in the pressure games.
I notice he has a tendency to chat with opposistion during breaks in play etc.
Have a chat with them in the bar after the match fine but during the game no!
The whole team need to find a cutting edge for the matches that matter when the chips are down.
Still 2 months before the season starts lm going cold turkey!

I dont think it is likely that any confirmed signings will be announced for a while, but I think it is reasonable to think most of the squad are staying.
