Harrow Boro v Mertyhr Match Preview.

Well thank God after the Summer break the new season starts Today!
Pre Season is over and the serious stuff begins!
The Bookmakers have us as Even Money favourites to beat Merthyr and thats a fair reflection of our chances today.
We have got better players than Merthyr so if we play at our best we will win this.
But its all easy on paper what happens on the pitch is what counts!
I hope we play a more direct game as we did recently against Potters Bar getting good early crosses in the box and guess what we got 3 goals.
The ball needs to be moved quickly from the back to play the game in the Opposistions half.
We need to Remember we arent a Champions League Lite team playing slow from the back thats no good at this Level.
The midfield need to impose themselves today yes get stuck in Let Merthyr know they are in a contest.
I hope we have found someone who can do a Long throw this is vital at our Level and always some work has been done for set piece routines in general.
Im expecting 3 points this afternoon its very windy so we dont need fancy flicks and tricks on the ball Lets make this a battle and get those 3 points!.
So Come On You Reds!

Well it's a new season and nothing is a "given" so we certainly have to compete.
If we play anything like we did for most of last season (which was the best we've played and had as a club in the last 8-10 years , we'll be alright.

Yes agreed Earlsmead Part timer if we can be a bit tougher mentally and physically stronger especially in midfield in the games that Really count when the chips are down lm very confident of a top 5 finish.
A Lovely windy day today so plenty of Long balls hopefully!
