home v Taunton 31/08
Views: 713
On Saturday the bookies 2nd favourites (behind Salisbury) for the title visit Earlsmead. Back in March we won last seasons home match v the Peacocks thanks to a Ryan Moss Penalty.
Those who traveled to the away match in Somerset will remember that we played very well for the first half hour despite only having 10 men from a very early stage, two further red cards before half time killed the game as a contest.
Taunton started this season with two heavy defeats, 3-0 at Gosport & 4-0 at home to Yate but travel to Harrow having won their last three matches scoring three times in each. Beating Chesham Utd (3-2), Wimborne (3-0) & Tiverton Town (3-1).
Boro are unbeaten in our opening 4 matches for the first time since 1991-92 season, when we won two & drew two before losing 2-1 against Enfield. You have to go all the way back to 1979-80 for a better start when we went unbeaten for seven matches at the start of our first ever season in the Isthmian League Premier Division.
