Saturdays Here at Last! Thank God!
Todays FA Cup 1st Qualifying round v Binfield so important with nearly £6000 at stake for the winners and hopefully a great cup run.
This is a winnable tie.
Binfield Lead the Hellenic League and having watched Longlevens from this League beat Northwood we must treat them with respect
We are unbeaten going well but Last weeks 1st half performance we werent good enough.
We were too Lightweight in midfield and couldnt win the ball or keep control of it.
Frank Keita must start today if fit instead of Jordan Ireland who Looked off the pace not tracking back enough when he didnt have the ball and l would have Excellence starting instead of Lewis Cole.A good ball winner is Excellence tough and strong.
Midfield is vital lm sure Binfield will come to get stuck in and make it a battle thats the only way they can get anything from this as we have far better players.
The things we are doing well keep doing.
Playing more direct in the opponents half with good tempo good crosses pressing high up the pitch.
Binning the slow build up stuff and hopefully the short corners.Hopefully!!!!!
So a very winnable game and lm expecting us to be in the draw on Monday!
So Come On You Reds!!!!!!!

Would definatly start with Frank today. However would not drop Jordan from the starting line up either. Should be an interesting game against a team not used to losing - rather like ourselves. By the way the match at Beaconsfield will be on Tuesday as they won last night in their FA Cup tie. Always assuming our match today is nor a draw.

Thanks for that Town Colours lm not questioning Jordans ability just his work rate needs to improve when he hasnt got the ball.
I think the Guys have got enough nous about them now if you Like how to win ugly because lm expecting to Binfield kick a few of our guys and turn this into a battle.
But only one result we have got far too many good players so Binfield be prepared for your 1st defeat!
So Come On You Reds!!!!

Quite a harsh criticism of Ireland I think. We have started the season very well with all players doing well. Of course we can always do better but already moaning when we are unbeaten is silly. Lewis Cole is a fine player, nothing wrong with his fight. Last week he tracked back from an attacking corner, made a slide tackle to win the ball to stop a counter attack and then delivered a lovely cross. Perhaps as he is not the tallest or biggest you worry for him. Excellence is a good player too but has always seemed more of an attacker than midfielder to me.
