Hello Town.Agreed Good Draw with Home advantage big plus.
Always good to play an Isthmian League side such as Carshalton.
I wish we were still in that League
Carshalton 4th at the mo but we should be too good for em!

But also not the best. They’ve won 5 in a row after losing their opening two games and lay 4th in the table. However it is better than playing a team from above and it is at home!
Their two losses so far this season came against Potters Bar Town and East Thurrock United (both in the top half of Isthmian). Their wins came against the bottom two sides in Corinthian Casuals and Leatherhead, against Bognor who are in the bottom 5 and Bishops Stortford who are top half.
They knocked out Bracknell from the league below 2-0 in 1st round qualifying.

Agreed. Not the hardest but not the easiest.
They will come to Earlsmead and obviously give it a right go.
But you would think that with home advantage and us playing well , we'll have enough about us to progress into the next round. (fingers crossed!)

Yes agreed Earlsmead Part timer and Red Harrow and on the Line of form as they say in racing they Lost to Potters Bar who we beat in pre season.
So Carshalton Arent Anything Special and its about us we are at home we take the game to them.
Do that and we are in the hat or whatever for that 3rd Qualifying round!!!!

Yep. I think most will be happy with that draw, Its good to play an Isthmian side ( but I do NOT wish we were still in that League).
On paper similar sides, should be a good cup tie.

Mixed feelings about this one. Glad we avoided a National League South team and glad we have home advantage but they are on very good form. Was hoping for a team from a lower division. On paper, it should be two evenly matched teams. Could go either way.

Yes Good Point Cappers but on a Line of form through Potters Bar who we beat and they Lost to as l said earlier l dont think Carshalton are anything special and lm very confident with our new found winning mentality we should be far to good for them.

Why don't you think Carshalton aren't anything special? Have you seen them play? They must be half-decent as they are currently 4th in the Isthmian Premier. Just because you beat Potters Bar in a meaningless pre-season friendly, and Potters Bar beat Carshalton at the beginning of the season, does not mean that you will beat Carshalton.
Having looked at the players Carshalton have and the players you have, my prediction is a Carshalton win in a replay after a closely fought draw at Earlsmead.
Good thing it wasn't Staines you pulled out of the hat isn't it?

No game is meaningless every game you fight to win.
Carshalton Lost to Potters Bar that. says a Lot.
Potters Bar Looked average when we played them
Our guys more street wise this season we know how to dig in to win the matches that count now.
So an early Prediction Boro 3 Carshalton 0!

Given this one some thought Red Harrow.
But l think its a Bit of a Red Herring!
Bracknell dont play in Carshaltons League but Potters Bar
do so that is far more relevant.
Like l said earlier on the Potters Bar Line of form we have the Beating of Carshalton.
But Lets Look at this another way.
How many of the current Carshalton team would be Good Enough to get in our team at the moment.
1 maybe 2 lm being generous.
Its not just our 1st 11 but our bench is the strongest lve probably ever Known.
We all know Whispering Minotaur is a Hendon fan and to my knowledge never once tipped a Boro win and his"Prediction" we will Lose in a replay to Carshalton after a draw at Earlsmead is to be taken with a Pinch of Salt Methinks!!!!
But its good having other teams fans tagging on to our great start to the season.
Im Confident Boro 3 Carshalton 0.
