Poole v Harrow Boro Match Preview

Well due to Fans travel being fully booked and the Clubs Poor Planning in not having a Coach available for fans and players a like lm not able to attend this vital match and am sampling the Delights of Northwood v Hanwell instead!
Tuesdays result a bit of a blip by all accounts plenty of possesion but final ball missing. So thats gone forget that!
As for today a toughie.
Poole top of the League and seem to have shaken off the reputation of Lacking Bottle in the big games.Although l still have my doubts about that.
How to approach this.
I would go 4-4-2 and take the game to Poole.
Playing 5 in midfield would be a negative move and as we saw first half doing it against Taunton didnt work.
We must be positive we are Harrow Boro we back ourselves to go to Poole and get 3 points.
If our Players perform to their best we will win this because we havent got too many weak Links through the team.
Start with a good tempo in their faces and this is an easily winnable game.
How the Bookies make Poole odds on for this as Toyah once sung"Its a Mystery!"
From the first whistle get stuck into them and be solid when we havent got the ball and 3points should be ours!!!!
So Come On You Reds!!!!!

Poole have made a very good signing this week in Luke Holmes.

Why not go to Poole by train? It's not that difficult - and often quicker than going by road if the roads are busy! Why not ask the club why they aren't running a fans/players coach rather than just critisising?

I predict Poole Town 2-1 Harrow Borough and Northwood 3-2 Hanwell Town

Yes Whispering l put it out there on the forum but no reply about the coach.l know club officials read this forum.
As for the train £52 return is too much in my view.
Boro play our best and we should win as l mentioned earlier l hope your right about Northwood and as ever thanks for contributing.

interesting team line up today. No Andrews so Moore will be at right back. Fenton gets the nod ahead of Pepera. Looks like a 433.

You can listen online at https://www.pooletownfc.co.uk/content.php?pg=sipg&pd=94 to the poole town radio.

1-0 down at half time but seem to be running the game, a few chances saved by the poole town goalie.

Poole Town radio commentary have been very impressed with us and called us the better team.

O'Connor has just had a shot blocked on the line in the 62nd minute.

O'Connor again has an effort cleared off the line. Ryan Moss is on to try and provide a goal.

Poole go 2-0 up, huge surprise from the Poole commentator who believed their striker was 4 yards offside.

3-0 as we looked to get into the break. Excellence Muhemba pulls one back in injury time. Seems like the best player on the pitch was the Poole goalkeeper and we were unlucky overall. Onwards and upwards.

No Coach because the players didn't want to go by coach.
Pepera injured.
Played some great football today, unfortunately didn't convert our chances . Poole only had 5 attacks in the whole match

Yes, don't know how we didn't come away with at least a point.
Clear hand ball not given, much clearer than the one against us at Hartley Wintney.
Much of the second half Poole just sat in their half and just put men behind the ball trying to catch us on the counter.
Thought we were the better side and played some good football, but I guess it's all about putting the ball in the net at the end of the day missed chances and some excellent saves by their keeper just kept us at bay.

Despite losing, the signs seem encouraging. We've got to get back on track now after two straight defeats. Nothing but a win will do against Beaconsfield. They got thrashed today and have lost every league game. I may be the only one who was angry about losing to Beaconsfield on Tuesday in the league cup and will be even more angry if we mess it up again against them on Tuesday in the league.
