we love away days

I'm disappointed and a little surprised that a massive pat on the back has not been levelled at bakes, wilks, jess , myself or the players after today's result.the forum is very quiet especially when 1 fan was expecting a 5-1 hendon win and another hoping santa would bring in new players and manager.
we've had a tough couple of months with bad luck, injuries and a utterly shit performance at home to WSM.
today we proved a long throw is ineffective, we dealt with the wind, rain and the hendon slope in the 1st half to come away with a hard earned 1-0 win,a MCS goal, the fight and determination shown by the lads, just shows they are behind the manager and the coaches.
whilst the season is only half way and hendon arent the best, its still a derby, its boxing day and its 3 points.the town mayor has granted a stay of execution,
thanks for the support,oh and we'll see you new years day at home.#uptheborough#stevebakersredarmy

these are the views of me and me only and not to be associated with any other member of coaching staff/management or player.

Lee Thank You Again for Contributing.
Its good of you to give your perspective on things.
In regard to myself l stated a number of weeks Steve was the man for the job.
With his passion for the game which we can hear and his expertise in playing far outweighs any of us fans views.
In fact with Steve on the Dugout side and me next to the main stand l think the players never lack advice!
As l wrote in my preview today it was a day to win "Ugly"get Stuck in and yes in their Faces which we did well.
The goal excellent great free kick from George and MCS Expertly finished.
Injuries yes have Hampered us no doubt but Bad Luck Sorry you make your own Luck through Hard Work.Quoting My Friend Mr.Player The Great Golfer."The Harder l Work The Luckier l Get" Yes Indeed.
I still think a Long throw specialist brings another dimension so beg to differ there.
Lots of the basics being done better lm sure work has gone in to improve Crossing Shooting and Passing.
Still 1 thing to improve never clear a ball upfield just straight always hit the channels then you can never lose a ball in a bad area.
But Overall excellent but got to Continue that 1st Jan against Walton.
Im sure We Will!

Great win yesterday Lee! Much needed obviously and agreed the formation worked well. Need to keep the momentum going. Have a good chance to to that 1/1/2020. The opposition are a team we should be looking to beat. Will go above them if we win. The team need to start winning at home - do this and hopefully some of the stay away fans will come back. Wishing all supporters and management a Happy New Year.

Yes Happy New Year to you too Dave Town Colours.
I think Organised is the word we a Lot better when we didnt have the ball and when we did we were more direct not afraid to have a dig at goal from distance and the goal an excellent free from George and MCS a good finish.
We won ugly if you Like.
But we won!!!!

Well done lads (players and management) great result.
I did say in the Weston-super-Mare thread that this game is a crossroads for for the club, sounds like we've made the "right turn" and we've now got to keep going down the right road.
Must follow it up with a similar result on New Years Day.

Hi Lee,

Perhaps the majority of the fans are still downing a few pints after such an important win! We definitely have a run of games now where we can pick up some good results and move ourselves up the table. Well done to the staff and team, see you on NYD!
