First of all a Very Great Pleasure Meeting Lee Pearce in the front of tunnel before kick off who is our goalkeeping coach and provided his personal insight on things on the forum before.
Personable and Knowledgeable it was a Pleasure talking with you Lee.
Thank you for your time near kick off.
The match we did the Basics well playing a fluid 3-5-2.
It worked well we looked good attacking and defending we had a good shape.
I think we edged the first half with some good long range efforts and some hard tackles going in and our Keeper Luca an excellent save 10 mins from break.
2nd Half a Clear Penalty after 50 mins.
But a New Years Mystery!
Micheal Bryan came up to take the pen with most fans thinking why not MCS Mark Charles Smith who had an excellent record on the pens in his first spell with us.
Micheal fluffed the pen but George Moore alert to stick the rebound away.
We were resilant thereafter we didnt buckle held firm and when the chance came MCS with a poachers finish 2-0 game over!
Man of Match very tough.
Im going for Lewis Cole who has improved his strength on the ball and tackling ability and giving 10 yard passes well as always.
So well done Lewis!
Off to the Land of Song Saturday Merthyr Tydfill.
Nothing to fear there Another 3 points to fight for!
Come On You Reds!!!!

Our best performance for a very long time.

I was very impressed with Tom Scott in midfield, winning tackles & keeping possession in tight situations.

Back 3 were solid, Preddie got away with wanting to take an extra touch a couple of times ( better opposition will punish him).
Goalkeeping was very good. Takes the high ball, very high which is good to see.
We got in some great crossing positions down the flanks MCS was rarely in a position to recieve it, nor anyone else . A bit more belief in our attacking game & we could have won more comfortably.

Good entertainment, more of the same please.

Yes Agree Alan Middlesex Wanderer.
Some excellent points there.
The Penalty taking situation though l would take Marc Charles Smith Over Micheal Bryan to be honest.
So Thats Something To Resolve.
But a really good team effort working well as a unit and when we came under pressure great effort and determination from the guys.
2 Clean Sheats in a row!
