Taunton 3 Harrow 2

Thought the lads gave 100% today and we're unlucky not to get a point against a very good Taunton side.
Apart from the first 15 mins we were toe to toe with them the rest of the game.
Great header from a corner for our first goal from George Fenton and Chime did well with a good poachers goal after a mistake in the Town defence.
We failed to clear the ball properly after a superb save by the keeper for one of their goals
I know the players will be disappointed with that.
But good effort appreciated by the vociferous away support.
We must do the same next week against Poole.
Play like that win or lose and you'll have the fans are behind you .

A very enjoyable game to watch , real shame we didn't get a point , only a couple of lapses in our own box let us down.
Terrific support for the side on their travels again.
Some nice pubs in Taunton, & I think we visited most of them!

Sounds a Swell Time Alan Middlesex Wanderer.
A Bit better than mine at Northwood!
Just basic errors defending have cost us at Least a Point.
But we need same effort for Next Saturday against Poole.
No reason we cant win that one with the right attitude and will to win!

Thank you Earlsmead Part timer for that match report for us unable to make it today.
Thats all we can ask for that the Guys give 100%.
Luckily Yate& Walton both beaten so we still have things in our own hands.
The day at Northwood not good.
Theyve done an excellent job on the main stand all New seats and a Lick of paint.
With New Turnstiles and Fencing to come but on the pitch a 10th defeat in a row and rock bottom Isthmian Divs 1.
Looking for their 3rd manager of the season and facing possible Relegation to The London Spartan League.
One thing under Peter Rogers rein we are Lucky to have is stability.
With the events at Northwood we should be greateful for that!!!!!
Come on You Reds!!!!!

Terry are you willing to retract statement on Chime? He’s got an assist and a goal in two games since joining.

Hello Red Harrow.
I saw his goal on You Tube and he took it well.
Chime does make good runs and has got pace.
But giving you my Honest Opinion is he Physically Strong Enough to mix it with Defenders in a Tough League Like this.
To be Totally Honest l would say No but l hope he proves me wrong!
His Debut against Hartley Whitney was Poor but hopefully that goal yesterday will give him Confidence.
MCS and Anthony O'Connor Would always start if fit if l was picking the team.George Moore a good alternative.
The Kind of Players you need for this league are not great technical players but Physically Tough.
Difficult to knock off the ball and do the basics well whether its Defending or Attacking.
When Borough are Looking to Sign a Player thats would they should be Looking for.

Kenta Nakashima was pretty great and he was small and not hugely physical.
Simeon Akinola, Robin Shroot, Troy Hewitt, Albert Adomah, Danny Dyer etc were all good players too. There’s definitely space for Chime in our team. His main attribute is putting the ball in the net. That’s what we need!

Yes agreed some excellent players named Red Harrow.
But l would say that was in the Isthmian League which l wish we were still in where to be honest better football was played than in this League.
We will have to differ about Chime lm hoping of course hes a success and proves me wrong by scoring Lots of goals for us as l said hopefully yesterday gives him confidence.
Got to be honest and say he was badly off the pace on his debut v Hartley Whitney.
To me l would have him as an inpact Sub with 30mins to go because he has genuine pace thats the role l would see for him Red Harrow.
