Harrow v Chesham

Its going to be very wet & very windy

It's very rare for a postponement at The Boro, so should be a proper old fashioned non league game on Saturday

Lets Hope not Red Harrow.
We need a Ref with a bit of Common Sense.
Bit of Wind.Bit of a Rain.
Get On With It!!!!
As We Say In Ireland A Bit of a Hooley!!!!
Conditions should be a good Leveller and we show same Determination as we did against Poole we will beat Chesham.Who l dont Believe are Anything Special.
Casting my Mind Back to the Match Last April it was all Long throws and Set Pieces so Deny them that and lm Saying a 3-1 win To Boro.
So Get This Match On!!!!
As Ever
Come on You Reds!!!!

If the team at the top of the league is 'nothing special' as suggested by Terry, it could be that the league itself is of modest quality - which doesn't say much for teams in the lower regions of the league - maybe some names spring to mind !
I believe the weekend storm will involve very heavy rain rather than high winds, so a postponement through an unfit pitch may be likely. In those conditions, strength rather than skill may be decisive, so I reckon a draw is likely.
Chesham generally don't look vastly superior to their opponents in most games but they are very good at winning matches, hence their league position. Conversely ........... !
Make sure the bar has adequate beer stocks this time - unlike our last visit, which did little for Harrow's reputation !
Enjoy the game - I hope it will attract your biggest crowd of the season.

Hi Mickey
The bar has been much better this season, when you visited last season it was particularly crap!
The regular away day crowd are on a pub crawl before the match. Chesham supporters are welcome to join us.
First pub The Kingsfield Arms, Bessborough Rd at midday. (10 min walk from Harrow on the Hill Station

Hello Gee-Mickey Well Hendon springs to mind for a start.
Certainly not Borough with the amount of quality we have we are in a false Posistion!
It is a modest Quality this League the Isthmian League far better in my opinion.
You said it yourself your just scraping wins
Lets hope the match is on a bit of wind and rain lm sure our fellas wont mind that and by 4.45 lm sorry to say after we have won 3-1 you wont be Top of the League.
That Pub The Horsehoe in the Parade shops close to ground never short of beer in there.
Thanks for contributing as always.

Terry -
It's just as well you're not in the 'far better' Isthmian League because, if you're right, you'd probably be in a relegation spot now if you were !
Like you, quite a few Chesham fans would prefer to be in the Isthmian League - but I don't see the attraction of the M25 and there's not much in it on mileage, apart from Truro, Tiverton & Merthyr.
I didn't mention 'scraping' wins - most of them have been comfortable wins, even when the scores are close.
There are some very good players in the current Chesham team and I hope you will enjoy watching them on Saturday. Apart from Michael Bryan and your Fulham loanees I doubt many Borough players would interest Chesham
Personally, lunchtime drinking doesn't interest me but surely those who enjoy a drink and non-league football should patronise the Clubs' bars rather than local pubs and keep the money in the game ?
Anyway, carry on dreaming Terry and enjoy the game. Best wishes to Borough for the rest of the season.
