I see this morning that they will stop charging business rates for retail and leisure for the time being. Will this help Boro or do we not fall under leisure?

Hello Red Harrow Yes We are Part of The Leisure/Entertainment Business if you Like So I Would Expect us To Fall Into that Sector.
Another Thing that Could Be Done In regard This Business of Charging Vat To Non League Clubs lm Not Sure if This is done on Ticket Sales/ Bar Takings etc.
I Would Like to See All Non League Clubs Exempt From Vat.
Ive Mentioned I Think To Fixtures Direct Stuart on Here in The Past He Obviously Has More Knowledge about This Being a Board Member.

A change in the way business rates were implemented a few years ago caused some serious financial problems for the club, so any suspension will be welcome.
There will will not be a separate rate of VAT, but there could be a general reduction as happened in the last recession, But obviously if income is vastly reduced any reduction will have little affect.
15% of nothing is the same 20% of nothing

20% Right does that come out of every ticket Sold.
So the club only gets £9.60 of The £12 Admission.
