Step 5 and 6

Step 5 and 6 leagues have been cancelled. FA now deciding whether to null and void or choose promotion/relegation on points per game. If that was in effect in our league, we would be safe. Truro would be up with Chesham. Dorchester and Beaconsfield down - Walton 3rd bottom

Just found this on the Isthmian league website:

The Isthmian, Northern Premier and Southern Leagues are unanimous in wanting to terminate the 2019-20 season immediately. The Step 5/6 Leagues also support the immediate termination of the season.
Whether that is done on the basis of determining final placings via average points per game, or the season is declared null & void cannot be determined until the National League decides how it wishes to proceed.

A 'points per game' finish to the season would be great for Chesham, who couldn't be certain of winning a playoff,
but tough on Beaconsfield who were achieving much improved results and would have fancied their chances of getting above Walton Casuals by the end of the season.

It sounds as though the Vanarama N.L. will decide the fate of lower clubs.

What if the PL and EFL decide to continue their season no matter what. This could impact the start of next season for National League and below. I don’t think non league teams would be happy waiting until Sept/Oct to start the season. Perhaps the FA Cup/Trophy/Vase rounds could all be played early as well as County Cups? Or even Southern League/Isthmian League cups.
