Dominant reserve team of the early 80's
Views: 627
Would anyone be able to tell me a few details regarding the Harrow Borough reserve team of the early 80's ?
They won the Suburban Football League - Northern Division for three season's running:
80/81,81/82 and 82/83
Those wins each led to a Championship Play-off game versus the winners of the Southern Division:
80/81 v Bromley
81/82 v Sutton Utd
82/83 v Walton Casuals
to decide the overall Champions.
Could anyone tell me those results please?

Thanks for replying.
I've just been told that there weren't any Championship Play-off matches.
I'd assumed that the Northern Division winners met the Southern Division winners to decide the title, and in turn who would enter the following season's Champions Cup,but apparently that wasn't the case.
Harrow possibly played in the first Champions Cup in 81/82 versus Barton Rovers,if your records have that game it would be great.
In 84/85 Harrow played Aylesbury Utd in the final of the Champions Cup over 2 legs, but I don't know the results.

I don't suppose anyone knows if the reserves played in the 81/82 Champions Cup versus Barton Rovers?
