At Last a Home Match With Fans Since March When We Played Salisbury!
Excellent of The Club For The Free Admission And Should Be A Good Test Playing Chertsey.
We Need To Put Saturdays "Display" Behind Us And Get A Confidence Boosting Win.
I Know Some Will Say These Are Only "Friendlies" There's No Such Thing Every Game Matters Players And
Fans Want To Win Simple As That.
What We Need Is a Commited Display And Fierce Will To Win Obviously Lacking Saturday Against Our Combined Counties Opponents Ascot Utd.
So The Message Is Clear Get Stuck And Take The Game To Chertsey And Start A Winning Run Going!
Im Saying 3-1 To Boro!
Come On You Reds!!!

We will still have another two friendly matches after this one. I wonder if the starting 11 for the first game of the season will be consistently used now or if trialists/fringe players will still be getting starts.

From the players we have used this summer, my ideal lineup would be;

Purdue (Hoskins didn’t fill me with confidence in hoghlights vs PBT)

Barnieh (Andrews has gone And heard good things about the Maidenhead youngster)
Tricker
Preddie
Cole

Keita
Ireland
Cole

Bryan
MCS
Moore

That’s obviously a very familiar team with good squad depth from Oseni, Scott, Griffith, Taylor, Ive, O’Connor, Oduteko and Matthew.

Hello Harrowred Looks a Strong Line Up On Paper If Everyone Is Fit and Firing.
But Of Course Games Aren't Won On Paper And Like You l Would Say Get The Best Players Out There For These Friendlys.
If Anthony O'Connor is Fit He Must Start.
Put George Moore Wide Midfield and Lewis Cole On Subs Bench.
Anthony's Got Such Great Pace Any Defence Would Fear Playing Against Him And His Finishing lm Sure Will Improve This Season.

Having seen the players play tonight, I would definitely change my opinion on the lineup.

If we are going with the 352 formation that was started with tonight then I would go with

Hoskins
Moore Preddie Ireland Oseni Cole
Bryan Cole Keita
Matthew Liam?

I thought matthew looked pacy and ran in behind well. His strike partner (a new player who i only caught his first name as Liam) looked like a hard worker and nice link up play with others impressed. He did miss a couple of chances however. Kensley Maloney was back and also looked very bright.

If we went with a 442 I would now go with;
Hoskins
Moore Preddie Oseni Cole
Bryan Keita Ireland Cole O’Connor
MCS/Liam.

Without a true right back, Moore would have to play there and I’d pack the midfield so he could bomb forward with Bryan coming inside. O’Connor would add pace to get up close to the lone striker.

Hoskins I thought looked the better of the two keepers tonight. Purdue to me looked a bit shaky
