New Players

Thought Liam Ferdinand looked good in our friendly vs Chertsey. Was at Hungerford in the National South last season. He joined them from Bracknell where he scored 32 goals in Div 1, where they then lost in playoffs. Scored 34 in 26 for Thatcham the season before.
Zidan Akers who also played for Hungerford last season, scored what was supposedly a great goal for us today. Saw a video of his recently and is a very exciting young attacking player. I think it would be a coup if we have signed him. He has spent time with the youth teams at Reading and Hearts.
Both played over 35 times for Hungerford last season. Looking forward to the season starting with these signings.

Ferdinand's scoring record is incredible. I've just watched a video of Zidan as well. He looks far too good for us. Pacey, skilful and can score.
Have we actually signed these players? If we have it sounds like some coup.

Zidan scored a wonderful goal this afternoon at Horsham. A really powerful shot from oitside the area, the keeper had no chance.
I like the look of Ferdinand he sems to compete for every ball & get in the right places in the area.
