One Way System inside the ground

I'm sure the idea of putting a one way system in to help with social distancing was created with good intentions, however it actually has completely the opposite effect.
Popping to the toilet at half time and hoping to walk back to the main stand via the club house end terrace behind the goal where a whole 2 people were standing ... only to be told that a one way system was in operation and would have to walk near enough a full lap of the ground which included passing through the main crowd of approx 100 who were congregated as usual behind the dugouts.
So instead of being socially distanced and not coming within 50ft of anyone several people were instructed to walk through a crowd 6/7 deep?
There were several people trying to leave before the end via the empty terrace who were told to walk a lap of the ground through the entire crowd for social distancing reasons - can the guys on the committee who organised this please have a rethink and let common sense prevail?
The way it's currently being used is akin to a lollipop man telling kids that the quiet zebra crossing is shut and they have to cross the M25 on foot!

I am sure they will happily have a chat with you. I am also sure they will probably agree with you. The problem is the
walkway is not wide enough for 2 way under the regulations . So an extra 360 yd walk for everyone so we can play a home match with spectators seems a small price to pay to me.

I totally agree. Whilst I understand the club are in a difficult position with what policies are in place, when I attended the friendly vs Chertsey, we were stood near the tea bar. When full time came, we could have exited by the turnstiles and come in to contact with nobody. However we were told to walk the whole way around the ground, where we came in contact with so many additional people (slow walkers were overtaken on numerous occasions). I understand the one way flow, but it can also be a negative. It meant we came in to contact with far more people.
For full time I feel like it would work better that if you are on the dugout side, you exit at the turnstiles. If you are on the seated stand side, you walk around the back of the bar/clubhouse. Could the exit on to Arundel drive not also be utilised for exit now too?
