Not Good Enough!

I Didn't Have The "Pleasure" Of Attending This Evenings Match V Met Police But On This Forum We Have To Tell It Straight And Say That's Just Not Good EnoughTo Lose 5-2 Against An Average Team.
I Was Just Staggered Seeing The Team Selection.
Frank Keita And Lewis Cole On The Bench & Anthony O'Connor Too!
I Know Every Player Who Plays For Us Does His Best And Being A Manager Isn't Easy.
But The Old Adage Play Your Best Players From The Start And In My View We Didn't Do That This Evening.
I Will Say It Again Bin This 3-5-2 Rubbish And Get Back To 4-4-2 With Players Doing The Basics Well.
Let's Hope This Is Just A Blip And We Can Beat The "Might" Of Cray Valley In The FA Cup On Saturday.
Please If Anyone On The Forum Who Was At The Match Could Give Their Opinion That Would Be Much Appreciated!

Perhaps if Chinua Cole hadn’t seen red and we remained 11 v 10 For the whole of the second half, we could have seen a chance of a comeback.

It has to be said that the first half hour last night was shambolic and embarrassing.
Met had so much time and space it looked like they were playing with 3 more players than Boro.
Boro looked slow, unorganised and disinterested.
Worryingly in every league game so far the opposition have looked fitter, quicker and stronger especially in midfield.
Most teams in the league are now full of players who look like they should be playing rugby. Boro simply can't match up physically for 90 minutes against them and end up getting bullied off the ball.
It could easily have been 5 nil after half an hour last night.
Too many players are coasting knowing there is nobody to take their place in the team.
Hopefully we see an improvement on Saturday. If not then changes will surely have to be made?

Good post Mr Hat.
We were not at the races. Strange team selection . Total laclustre display.
Cole's sending off was pathetic. We were about to get a free kick, the game had stopped , he behaved like a moron. Worth noting the other Cole was lucky to not be sent off for an incident when the game hzd stopped against Salisbury.
As said, we could easily have conceded many more last night. I guess Cole will now miss the next 3 league matches. Lets hope someone steps upto the plate in his position.

Nobody wants to lose 5-2 but our other two defeats were close and we’ve done well in the cup. I agree if we lose against Cray and then Chesham it needs to be addressed. But we could get to the next round of the cup and pick up points next week and be looking pleased with ourselves.

I didn't go last night so can't accurately comment on a game I didn't see !
But perhaps the Met were up for this one after we turned them over there good and proper last season.
Did I see the crowd attn was nearly 500 or I'm I imagining things?
For a Met game???
They generally haven't got more than two fans to rub together normally!
Anyway agree with u Harrowred, the next two games will see where we are at.
We need to see a response.
