Harrow Boro 1 Weston Super Mare 1

Both Sides Put On An Excellent Match In Blustery Conditions and A 1-1 Draw Was A Fair Result.
We Looked Well Organised And Determined Today.
The Midfield Battle We Competed Well In.
The Defence Looking More Solid With Kensley Maloney Having A Good Game At Full Back Which Isn't His Natural Position But He's Worked Hard To Play That Well.
We Took The Lead With a George Moore"Special"From Around 20yards Which Their Goalie Couldn't Keep Out And The Equalisier From Weston We Have To Say Was Some Fine Skill Making Space And A Good Finish.
Both Sides In The 2nd Half Had To Chances To Finish It But 1-1 With Some Good Saves From From New Goalie Dave Purdie Got Us Our First Point Of The Season.
Babs Jarra Had A Fine Game And Just Gets Man Of The Match Over Kensley.
Next Saturday Over Land & Sea To Gosport Boro!
Come On You Reds!!!

Thanks for the report Terry. At least we are off the mark and off the bottom of the table. Onwards and upwards!

Our next few games should allow us to swiftly pick up more points. If we’re bottom in 6 weeks time I’d be surprised

Battled well which was missing in the games before Chesham.
Would love to see a couple of attacking players brought into the squad as we aren't really making chances.
Of the 3 goals we've scored in the league not from penalties - 2 have come from George Moore and the other was a 90th minute consolidation from half a yard out.
WSM had plenty of chances in the last 20 mins. Boro battled well but again the opposition looked fitter and stronger.
Stand out performances for me were Ben Tricker and Jordan Ireland.
Onto Gosport...

Hello The Majors Hat.
Yes You Raise Some Good Points.
I Thought For 70 Mins,We Battled Well v Salisbury To Be Fair.
We Are Getting The Ball In Better Areas Now And It's Looks A Tighter Unit Overall.
I Personally Would Start Frank Keita Every Game.
He Has That Quality Factor The Can Win A Game For You.
Personally I Would Have Anthony O'Connor Playing Alongside MCS and Liam Ferdinand As A Sub Who Can Come On To Turn The Game Last 30Mins As Needed.
Tough Game Gosport Not Least Getting There On The River Crossing From Portsmouth!

I wonder what happened to Zidan Akers. I was also surprised that we let go of Dylan Ive. Seemed to be having a good pre season and looked a promising young creative player

Well I do hope that it was our choice not to sign him rather than him choosing Walton over us 😞

Interesting that Dylan Kearney has been playing for Hayes & Yeading after being released by Sutton in the summer.
Hasn't scored yet though I expect that to end when we play them in a few weeks time.

It will be interesting to see Dylan in action against Borough.
I always enjoyed seeing him winding up the opposition keeper and defenders, it did make for great entertainment as it always seemed to work.
He's one of those players that you find annoying when he's doing it against your own team though.

Yeah I was disappointed that we didn’t sign him this summer, having said that, when he returned to us on loan from Sutton, he wasn’t as prolific.

I think the attacking midfield player we need is Frank Keita.
I would like to see him play in the 10 role behind a front 2 of O'Connor & Ferdinand .
Keita is also better equipped to help out Cole & Bryan when we are defending.
