Very Sad For All Us Londoners To Hear That Jimmy Greaves Has Passed Away This Sunday Morning.
The Word “Great” Is Sometimes Used Far Too Easily These Days.
But Jimmy Greaves Along Side George Best Were Great Players.
Like George Best,Jimmy Greaves Did Have Drink Issues But His Absolutely Outstanding Ability For Scoring Goals At Spurs Which Thanks To You Tube Are Their For All To See.
I Remember Growing Up Watching Saint & Greavsie Absolutely Essential Viewing Before Any Match.
Now Both Ian St John&Jimmy Greaves Have Sadly Passed Away.

Yes very sad he has passed Terrance. What a great side the Spurs double winning team was. Jimmy had a fantastic partner centre forward in Bobby Smith. Cliff Jones was interviewed about Jimmy on the BBC today - his son Steve was of course part of out fantastic team in the 1980's.
