Yes Agreed Alan Middlesex Wanderer.
This Is A Complete Farce As Far As I’m Concerned And Looks As Though Hayes & Yeading Don’t Fancy Playing Us On A Forecast Wet Evening With Us In Such Good Form.
The Southern League Board Should Make A Statement On What Grounds That Hayes & Yeading Wanted The Game Postponed As All Their Players Could Get To Earlsmead By Public Transport Or Hire A Mini Bus,Like You Did For Our Trip To Farnborough.
My View Is Simple,Any Away Team That Can Access A Game By Public Transport That Is Running Should Fulfil The Fixture And If They Cant Or Won’t Then The Result Is Given To The Home Team As A 3-0 Win.

Poor show from the league.
If a team has a trip to Truro from West London then it's understandable.
But a 9 mile round trip is taking the mick.

Hello Majors Hat.
So Typical Of The Southern League Board For A Complete Lack Of Leadership In Asking Hayes & Yeading For Proof That They Cant Fulfil The Fixture.
All Public Transport Is Running Normally And I See No Reason Why The Match Cant Take Place.
Another Issue Gee-Mickey Raised On Here Recently About Attendance's Is
That Since COVID We Have Probably Lost Around 20% Of Our Regular Home Fans And All Leagues And Clubs Need To Realise This That When Fans Get Out Of The Habit Of Going Then Sometimes They Can Be Lost Forever.
So I’m Saying This.
Southern League Board Make A Statement With Good Reasons Why This Match As Had To Be Postponed And If Not Reverse The Descsion And Make Hayes&Yeading Fulfil This Fixture This Evening.

Terrance - are you aware that most Southern League and Isthmian League matches have been postponed tonight? Don't forget that many players at this level have day jobs and those jobs have to come first, so understandably they have to prioritise their fuel use accordingly.
Only people to blame here are the fools that have been out panic buying fuel over the past few days, leaving those who need it unable to buy any.
I have a friend who is a paramedic, who has been unable to get to work because he is unable to get any fuel.

Hello NL Fan.I Respect Your View But Public Transport Is Running Normally.
As l Said In My Recent Article That Grimsby Are Doing a 232 Mile Trip And Hayes And Yeading Cant Do 9 Miles!

Some players may not be able to get to work, or from work to the ground on public transport. Just because they play for Hayes & Yeading, doesn't mean that they live or work in that area.
Can you be sure for certain that it is Hayes & Yeading who have requested the postponement. Do you know for sure that all of your Harrow players are able to get to Earlsmead from wherever they work tonight?

Yes But Earlsmead Is Easily Accessible By Public Transport.
Fans Have Been Badly Let Down By This And Borough Have A Big Enough Squad To Get A Team On The Pitch Not To Mention Our Development Players.

But is where the players live and work easily accessible by public transport? Are you certain that is the case for every player?

It Should Be.If l Was In Charge l Would Make It A Stipulation That Every Player Must Be Within Easy Travelling Distance Of Around A Hour By Public Transport.

Why? Surely the players day jobs come first? Why should they be limited where they do their day job just because they play for Harrow Borough?

NL Fan if you are correct . Perhaps Hayes can advise where these players live , where No fuel or suitable public transport is available. Then we could take them seriously.
