FA Cup preparation

I had no idea that teams could do this, but Bognor v Corinthian Casuals which was due to be played on Tuesday 12th October has been postponed so that Corinthian Casuals can prepare for their FA Cup match on Saturday 16th. Seems very odd.

Hello HarrowRed And Alan Middlesex Wanderer.
This Is A Complete Nonsense It Really Is.
I Certainly Hope That Our Match With Beaconsfield Town On Tuesday 12 October Isnt Going To Be Called Off.
I Know Of Course That The Match With Chelmsford Is A Big One Financially And Prestige Wise But With The Greatest Of Respect To Chelmsford We Have A Fair Idea How They Play And Far Better Having A Proper Game 4 Days Before With Beaconsfield And Be Match Sharp As They Say For The Saturday.
Not Just Borough But All Non League Clubs Need Income At The Moment And They Must Consider That Incidents Like Hayes Calling Off The Game Recently And Postponed Matches For No Good Reason Can Alieniate Fans Badly.

I knew that was allowed the mid week before the first round proper, its news to me that you can ahead of the 4th Q round.
Expect Hayes to be calling a game off if they have one!
