Fratton Park FA Cup Tie
Views: 1047
Pompey fans have noted that Charlton Athletic are charging £10 adult and £1 kids for the FA Cup tie at home to one of their near neighbours Havant and Waterlooville.
PFC fans know that both clubs have to agree the prices but it would be great to see sensible fair pricing for this game.
Fratton Park is undergoing a lot of health and safety work at present so the present capacity is about 17500.
Would be very confident of a five figure crowd if priced correctly.
On another note bound to be some Pompey fans in attendance tomorrow night as Gosport Borough is another club close to them.
One thing for sure there will be a good atmosphere as Fratton Park as PFC fans are known for the atmosphere they create home and away and the ground is old school rather than a modern day out of town soulless concrete bowl.

Thanks Parrot.Welcome To Our Forum.
Yes Charlton Certainly Are Playing It Very Fair With As You Say £10 For Adults And £1 For Kids And I Hope The Fans From Home And Away Come To The Valley!
Personally Something Similiar For Fratton Park Would Be Good!
I Know Any Pompey Fans Coming To Cheer On Gosport At Earlsmead Tomorrow Night Will Be Very Welcome And I’m Sure Impressed By The Standard Of The Southern League Premier!
One Of The Reasons All Of Us At Borough Are Looking Forward To The Match Is That Portsmouth Have Such A Good History And Fratton Park Is Such A Iconic Ground.
Real Atmosphere With Real Fans When You Ring Out The Pompey Chimes!
But Our Players Will Be Up For It As Well As Our Fans And It Should Be A Truly Memorable Day On Saturday 6th November!!!

Pompey is an old school club where the majority of fans are not arrogant and have proper respect for the football pyramid.
Plenty of the supporters have stuck with their team through thick and thin in all four divisions.
Not so long ago they were the biggest Fans Owned Club in the UK after the Fans saved the Club from liquidation after a number of dubious owners had nearly killed our Club.
I would suggest in this day and age Fratton Park is a unique league ground where there are no Executive Boxes, a proper Home End (The Fratton End) which all helps PFC supporters play their part in creating its reputation for atmosphere.
Pompey fans are very proud that we are the only club that has won all 4 major English divisions as well as winning the FA Cup at both the old and new Wembley.
Apart from some lunatic sections on social media we are down to earth being from a tough working class city.
Most PFC supporters respect those lower down in the Football Pyramid as salt of the earth football fans, exactly as it should be.

From Our Perspective This Is Our “Cup Final”.
We Have Won 4 Games To Get Here And This Is Easily The Best Stadium That Harrow Borough Will Have Ever Visited.
All Our Players Are Part Time But Play The Game To A Very Good Standard.
But For Any Team From Step 3 Of Non League Its Like Climbing A Mountain
To Get To The 1st Round Of The FA Cup And Our Reward Is A Great Day At Your Fantastic Fratton Park.

Respect to all at Earlsmead.
Pompey fans have seen the likes of Jamal Lowe show their ability rising through the leagues so we hope our players show the right respect to Harrow Borough.
Certainly Manager Danny Cowley knows that is required as he has served a long apprenticeship working his way up many divisions.
Look forward to November 6th and as we say in Pompey win or lose on the booze !
