It was absolutely fantastic to see the most important person in the club interviewed on Football Focus yesterday lunchtime. I’m certain if you looked up the word stalwart in the English Oxford dictionary it would say Peter Rogers next to it!! I hope you enjoyed yesterday as much as all the other travelling Borough fans did, and Portsmouth treated you like the legend you are.

Fully Agree Earl Of Smead.
I First Met Peter Rogers And His Father Jim When l Attended My First Borough Home Match With Dad in 1975.
Peter And The Other Board Members Stuart,Martin,Keith, and Dennis Are Doing An Excellent Job In Keeping The Club Going Despite Limited Crowds And The General Economic Climate.
Really Without The Rogers Family And Charles Gilliards Great Support In The Old Days,We Would Not Be Able To Enjoy Days Like Yesterday Wherever Some Of Us Where And Stalwart And “Mr Harrow Borough” Sums Peter Rogers Up Well.

I remember travelling on the team bus to an away midweek match at Bishop Stortford years ago. Dear old Jim got me to carry the kit bag in so I gained free entry. God bless him.

Yes A Great Character Jim Rogers.
Always Friendly And Had An Opinion On The Game,
That’s What Struck Dad And Myself On Our First Visit To Earlsmead in 1975 How Friendly Everyone Was Throughout The Club.
Something That Still Exists Today And One Of The Great Joys Of Non League.
My Recent Chat With Steve Baker When Buying The Portsmouth Ticket Being a Good Example.
