Dorchester 3 Harrow 1

I went to the match today and I must say I thought Dorch deserved their win with Boro looking below par at times with to many passes going astray and the final ball just not quite good enough.
A bad start letting in the early goal and overall I thought a poor first half with Boro coming off second best in midfield imo.
Started the second half better and pressurised Dorchester into giving away an own goal.
Unfortunately just when we looked to be getting right back into the game we gave away an own goal ourselves, when Josh palmed the ball into his own net.
Both sides then went on to have chances but Town saw the game out comfortably 3-1.
Must do and can do better in the next match.

Personally, I've noticed a trend for when we lose. But I'll let everyone work it out themselves. Chesham home and away is now massive for our season. Wishing everyone who went a safe journey back. Also, for those of you who went to farnborough away. The hooligan element in the home support was not special for us. Few incidents occurred at this afternoons game against Merthyr. Some more serious than others...

Is the trend that we concede more than we score?

Hello HarrowRed Hopefully We Won’t Be Giving Away Anymore Christmas “Presents” To Our Opponents And Starting With Chesham We Will Score More Goals Than Them!

Interesting lineup. Poor result. Two huge games vs Chesham now!

A poor performance from almost all the team. With a couple of questionable selection & starting positions too.
Conceding the early goal really set the tone.
It's a little bit concerning that squad players who seem to do well when used from the bench do not seem to be able to quite do enough when starting.
Hopefully it acts a bit bit of a kick up the jacksie for the games coming up.

Chesham have hit a purple patch as well.
I believe they struggled with injuries earlier in the season.
Had them down as a definite top 4 side before the season started.
I feel we could do with a couple of new faces to freshen up the squad.
Even if it means a couple of established squad members going.
It seems that every day on the Southern league twitter feed that the teams near the top are signing players to boost their squads.
Whilst i appreciate that we are paupers in this league, it would be nice to see a couple of new faces putting pressure on our current players for a starting spot.

Hello Major.Really Is The Playing Budget Unfortunately And We Have One Of The Lowest In The League So Its Really A Matter Of Loans As We Have Seen With Imran & Josh.
Hoping Some Of Fellas In The Under 23s Can Be Pushing For A Squad Place Soon.
Chesham Are Respected Opponents And These Will Be 2 Tough Matches.
Just Disappointing Yesterday To Give Away Such “Soft”Goals.

Two tough games coming up. We will do well to win one of them. Two draws would probably also be positive.
Hopefully MCS and OConnor will feel like new signings. Wynter should see some more game time too. We desperately could do with an Uche replacement but that wouldn’t be easy to find. Funnily enough hampton don’t have a game between 11th and 26th. I wonder if They would be interested in letting him make an appearance In that time for us when we have a few games.
Have we won a game yet when Biler had started?

Hello HarrowRed.Yes Great To See MCS And Anthony Back In The Fold.
I’m Not Sure About These Loans l Think Normally It’s A Specific Period And Of Course Players Can Be Recalled.
You Mention Dernell lm A Big Fan Of His.
I Like His No Nonsense Approach!
I’m Hoping We Can Do The “Double”Over Chesham This Week But l Would Settle For 4 Points!
I’m Not Sure If Ahmet Being Part Of A Winning Team But He’s Been Out Injured For A While And l Sure Know How That Feels!!!

Imran is duel registered , not on loan as he is not under contract at Hampton So it is possible for him to return at any point . Whether he or Hampton want him too is another matter of course

That’s Interesting To Hear Alan Middlesex Wanderer.
So In Fact Imran Could Be Described As A Free Agent Able To Play For Us And Hampton Or Do Hampton Have First Call On Him.

Hampton are the parent club so have the final say. We have matches on the 14th, 18th and 21st. Hampton don’t have a game between the 11th and 26th. I can’t imagine he will fancy a trip to Taunton on a Tuesday night on the 21st. Perhaps he will fancy a match or two when we are at home to Tiverton or away to Hayes to keep himself ticking over. We can hope and wish anyway!
