Great comeback in the 2nd half after being completely outplayed until half time and lucky to only be 2 down.
Pudding of a pitch and a low sun in the 2nd half which clearly affected their keeper and back four meant that when we 'put it in the mixer' as our dear departed Terry would shout many times during each game paid dividends.
RIP Terrance you'll be missed good sir.
Looking forward to the Taunton chuckle brothers YouTube interview with baited breath.
I'm sure they'll be slightly more bitter than a bag of lemons.
Absolutely stunning finish by James Ewington for his 1st.

Great win and more than made up for the visit to Taunton earlier this season. Terry would have loved it for sure.
Taunton were on a 12 match run which started when they beat us. No doubt their manager will blame our pitch but they were of course 2-0 up at half time. Surprisingly their goalkeeper did not have a cap to wear facing a very low sun. An outstanding display by the team in the second half. Was good to see so many youngsters at the game with their parents and hope that performance will encourage them to keep coming. COYR

Couldn’t have asked for a better match for the local school kids and parents to watch. As mentioned, the finish for Ewingtons first goal was great. The whole move was quite nice. Amate miss kick controlled on the wing by Bryan, passed inside to Mansfield who played a lovely ball up the wing to Preddie (everyone out of position). He made a great run down the wing and delivered a beauty of a ball to Ewington who smashed it into the top corner.
I think the sun definitely played a part all game. We were rubbish first half and they were second half.

Another Taunton player banned

Dan Sullivan who played No 10 for Taunton against us has been banned for four moths for gambling offences.
Andrew Neal (1 month ban), & Ollie Chamberlain (4mth ban) had previously been charged.
Whilst Ryan Brett (charged), Shane White (charged),& Elliot Richards (charged) all wait to find out any punishment.

Matt Wright, another former Taunton player now at Tiverton, received a six-month ban for similar offences as well.

Clearly they didn’t know it was against rules or just didn’t think they would get caught. As long as they weren’t betting against Taunton or any teams in our league/local to them, it doesn’t really bother me. If they were betting on professional games like championship and premier league, it’s not like they would have been able to influence those results.
