Both teams served up a poor game this afternoon on a very bobily pitch (yes I know ours can be just as bad)
But despite two penalties , one missed and one converted Boro can't really have any complaints about the scoreline.
We just weren't good enough today .

Poor performance, poor tactics.

After last week's game Steve Baker mentioned we might need to change our style on difficult pitches. This was a very difficult pitch yet we tried to play through the midfield for over an hour.
The game was crying out for us to put a second player up front & play early balls in to the channels.
Instead we had midfield players continuously losing the ball & Ewington totally isolated up front..
