Met Police 1 Harrow Boro 1.

Great performance today where we more than deserved our draw with the league leaders. The team could quite easily have won in the last 5 mins - Antonio being denied twice. Good to see Sam back today after a long lay off but sadly had to go off with seemingly the same injury that has kept him out for so long. All the players put in a marvelous shift. My MOM would be George Moore who was seemingly involved in the action all over the pitch . He also hit the post and scored our goal. COYR

Agree that George was MoM.
He's been playing exceptionally well the last few games.
Met seemed to be playing with the league leaders title weighing them down.
Taunton have replaced them at the top following an 89th minute winner in their 3-2 Derby win over Weston Super Mare.
Such a shame for Samuel to have his hamstring go again in his first game back after a lengthy layoff.
That's more than likely his season over and I expect some bigger fish to be tempting him away from us before the new season starts.
Best team performance since before Christmas and we fully deserved the point.
Maybe a chance to get a couple of the U23s in the squad for Wimborne on Tuesday night?

Re: Met Police 1 Harrow Boro 1. - Adenola

With regards to Sammy Adenola moving on, I wonder how much thought the club are having over giving him potentially a contract like we have seen with some players in the past. Clearly a very good young player who should move up the ladder. Our connections with Godfrey Torto could make keeping hold of him easier, or perhaps have the opposite effect as he has to look for the best interests in his players and may have opportunities further up. Showing commitment to him and offering him a contract may reap transfer fee benefits down the line?
The same goes to Lovre Drazic, a couple of weeks on trial at Bournemouth. Clearly a young player with potential. Do we get him some game time in our remaining fixtures and show a commitment to him or continue to use Strizovic who is unlikely to be with us next season? Though I can also understand maintaining and growing a relationship with a club like D&R by continuing to develop and play Strizovic, as it might allow us to borrow further players from them in the future.

Fair play to the team. Did better than expected. Which now means I expect a good win v Wimborne on Tuesday. Let’s see if that materialises…

I actually enjoyed an away match at Met Police, did I really just say that!
Great little pub, Marneys Village Inn before the game , then a really entertaining game A very well deserved point, very nearly 3 in stoppage time as we twice almost scored again.
