The 'large boned' lady is at the microphone

Last game of the season for the 1st team away at playoff placed WSM
Good work all those who are going.

Score predictions for the final time of the campaign?

I'm going with realism. The tea leaves at the bottom of my Boro mug on my desk at work are currently telling me a 4-0 defeat.

Hopefully the drink has got nothing to do with my prediction (gulg ,gulg )

But I think Weston will be extremely nervous going into this one so I'm going for a shock 2-1 win to the Boro.

I agree. Weston are top of the form table but have played 8 of their last 10 games away from home. Perhaps a home game on the final day when it truly matters will get the better of them.

I’m going for a 2-2. Chesham to make the playoffs

WSM 2 Boro 1

Season finishes with a defeat, but a very decent performance against a powerful Weston side that needed the win to qualify for the play-offs.
We hit the woodwork twice. & created some good opportunities. To be fair they hit the post too & Josh made a few quality saves including a penalty.
Disappointing not to get a point, but a good performance to end a good season.

The Under-23s have two games to go & could win the title in the final league fixture at Aylesbury next Saturday.
They have the final of the league plate stil to play too.

U23s won 4 - 0 yesterday so will definitely win the league if they win at Aylesbury Vale next Saturday.
A draw might even be enough if 2nd place Uxbridge and 3rd placed Aylesbury draw on Tuesday evening.

Would be nice to get some support for our youngsters at Aylesbury next Saturday.
Being dragged around IKEA with the family can surely wait another week?

If one of the shots that hit the woodwork had gone in, Chesham would have been in the playoffs and may have been playing National Lge South football next season ! They have finished the season in great form and would have been in with a chance.

Football turns on very fine incidents.

Never mind, hopefully we can look forward to our games with the Borough again next season.

Good Luck to everyone Harrow Borough for the summer.

Curious as to what you put Chesham's slow start this season down to?
Was it injuries / new players not settling in / tactics / a combination of these or something else?

Sounds like Boro gave it a real good go and were perhaps unlucky not to get a point.

Interesting factoid, Harrow got a point more in the 2016/17 season (53) and still got relegated. While this season we're sitting comfortably in mid table with 52 points in 14th position.

I know we played more games in 2016/17, forty-six. But we only picked up 1 point in our last six games. So still both very similar seasons with both having good FA Cup runs .

Should have been relegated yes but Houdini Harrow never get relegated! Actually, I was thinking the other day that Dorchester are like the Harrow Borough of the Southern League.
