Billy Leonard scored a fine goal to win the match. Boro created numerous chances to seal the win, but kept everyone on a knife edge as the crucial second goal eluded us.
A much better shape to the team today.

Better side and deserved the win.
Very scrappy game.
James missed three gilt edged chances that he'd have put away last season.
Worrying to see George limp off with what looked like a pretty nasty injury that will see him miss a few games.
Monday night will be a big test.
Beaconsfield has been a bogey ground for Boro in recent times, even when playing well.
