Just wondering if there are any lifts going or. A coach for the game as. I'm willing to pay for whatever also. Also, this is pending the 3:00 o'clock check tomorrow on the pitch.

Well, this time I didn't need the space on the coach, but thanks for the information. Hopefully next time we can get something arranged at the borough.

Hi. Having moved to Swindon in 1966 I was quite excited to see that the Boro have been drawn away to Swindon Super marine in the next round of the Trophy competition. I can remember going to see the two teams playing each other in a league game at Supermarine a few years back. I cannot remember the score, but I'm sure that the Boro won. They've had some good results in the past few weeks, so I hope that the trend continues next month. Finally, I also remember talking to some Boro fans, including 'Earlsmead Part Timer' and being I introduced to Mr. Rogers, and having my picture taken which appeared on the Forum. I wonder if the above contributor remembers the occasion and also the score. Great memories. Tony Knight

Hi Tony

Good to see you're still lurking around the "fans forum" following the Boro, and yes I do remember that day.
Harrow won 2-1 with Dylan Kearney scoring a cracking header to finish of a great Boro counter attack, so it must have been 2018.

Like you I'm bit of an "exile" myself having moved down to East Dorset 3 years ago.
But as Boro are in the Southern League I still get to quite a few away games and when I'm up in the Ruislip/Uxbridge area (my old stomping ground) I try to time it so I can take in a home game as well.
If they got moved back to the Isthmian League I'd be lucky to make half a dozen home games, so from a personal point of view I'm happy the way it is.

I should be at the match all being well and hopefully you can too ?
Would be great to meet up again and you can put more "faces" to some of the people who post on here.

Not glamorous at all (no respect to Swindon but was hoping for an ex EFL team), but certainly winnable. They’re doing well in the league but we gave them a good game away in the league already and seem to have improved since then too!

Yep Swindon are a good team.
But after what happened there last time I'm sure the lads would not need any pep talk from the management to be motivated for this one.

Definitely a winnable tie, so long as you can keep their Harry Williams quiet - second highest scorer in the league.
