Boro 1 - 5 WSM

I've no idea how Weston have lost 2 games this season as both times they have played us they have been on a different planet.
All over the pitch they were strong, fast and organised.
We started sluggishly and make too many basic errors. It seemed as though we were still playing the nightmare game from earlier in the season.
Second half we had a bit of a go and should have scored a couple more.
Anointed looks a very good player and was head and shoulders above anyone else in a Boro shirt on debut.
The bottom end of the table is very congested.
North Leigh appear cut adrift but the next seven sides are only separated by four points.
We need to be on the right side of a lot of six pointers over the next couple of months.
With games coming thick and fast, hopefully we can keep players fit and even try to add one or two new faces to give options from the bench.

I didn't go so can't comment on the game, but we were fortunate that out of the games around us played at least no-one won so we didn't lose much ground.
Agree with you Majors ,it will be the "six pointer" games I think which will decide our fate.

Weston are easily the best side we have playing in the league during our time in the Southern league.
If they keep that side together they will be in the promotion mix in the league above next season too.

My fear is when we had good cup runs and played Northampton and Portsmouth, we then completely dropped off. I’m hoping the Trophy run will not be too much of a distraction. We’ve had some good performances but haven’t picked up enough wins. Winchester, Hendon and North Leigh all in the next month. We will know where we stand after those games.

With today's Middx Cup tie being postponed I'd imagine Winchester being pushed back again as County Cup takes precedence.
Sat 11th March is the blank Saturday in the fixture calendar.
Common sense would say to reschedule for that date. However, when did common sense play a part in decision making from above?
