Hendon 3 - 0 Boro

Dominated the 1st half and should have been 2 up with a couple of glorious chances from 8 yards out. (one put wide at the far post and the other straight at the keeper)
Sloppy goal conceded from a corner that took a deflection.
Second half.. Well. At this level of football and with a small budget, all the supporters know that we will be outcmatched in many games.
However, the lack of spirit and fight in the second half was alarming.
Second goal conceded from giving the ball away and missing a couple of opportunities to intercept and clear own lines.
The most damming thing for me was that as soon as the ball went in every player just looked at the floor, slowly walked back to their position and didn't seem bothered. Where are the leaders out there? Who is organising and chastising when required?
Almost straight from the restart we concede another with their forward given time and space to pick his spot.
Game over.
A bit of pride and fight when wearing the badge please.

We were mighty fortunate on a couple of counts yesterday. Firstly with Haf escaping a red card, secondly the way our goal led a charmed life in the first half.

The two quick goals in the second half obviously killed the contest, and 3-0 was as flattering a scoreline as you'll have seen anywhere yesterday. We didn't play at all well yet had two centre halves defend well and a couple of clinical strikers at the other end.

I hope we're both able to haul ourselves clear of the mire, wishing you luck for the remainder.

Interesting to hear a Hendon fans view of the game John.

From the Harrow games I've seen this season we certainly have not had the "rub of the green" or any luck really.
But as they say ,I guess u make your own luck.
All the best for the rest of the season.

Halifax will be a bonus game. The ones that really matter now are Winchester and North Leigh in the space of a few days at the start of February. If we don’t win both, we are likely going to remain in the bottom 4 for the rest of the season

2nd half display Boro got exactly what they deserved.

But first half we were the better team & as mentioned a clear red card offence was committed by the Hendon keeper.
