Merthyr Predictions
Views: 548
Merthyr in just as bad form as ourselves. After 2 draws in the last week and with North Leigh in good form, we need to get 3 points here. Hoping Ezra will be back to boost the ranks. I’m going to be positive and go for a 2-1 win

1-1 is my prediction.
Two massive games coming up both at home against mid table teams in poor form with little to play for. A couple of scrappy wins would do us just fine! Like the 1-0 win we got against Beaconsfield.
I'm jumping ahead a bit here as we haven't played Merthyr yet but Tivvy had a couple of players sent off in their last game against North Leigh so they might be suspended when they play us. I'm not sure if they were straight reds or second yellows though.

Can't call this one. Who knows what Boro team will turn up.
But I'm hoping 1-0 Boro

Despite the poor form. Merthyr are much changed from last season, under the guidance of manager Paul michael. Who is very experienced at this level. Having taken a few of his former players with him to the valleys. As someone who watches the Martyrs, the ones to watch in this side are Frazer Thomas, Curtis Jemmett -Hutson and Noah Smerdon. Curtis having recently been called up by his national team. My prediction for this is 0-0

Well that was painful, come up from Dorset to see that , knew I should have gone with the wife shopping in Uxbridge.
We have the look of a relegated team all over us .

Yes, there are injuries.
Yes, we have a tiny budget
Yes, we have a very young side.
However we're making the same errors nearly every week that shouldn't happen in a Sunday league game.
Gifted Merthyr their opener. Miss a penalty and then concede again with Merthyr temporarily down to ten. Great finish but their centre midfielder had 20 yards of space to set up the forward.
We didn't even have a go in the second half. Not many out there will be able to wake up tomorrow morning and honestly say that they busted a gut out there.
If you go down, you go down fighting.
At least look like you give a $hit and don't wave the white flag after conceding a goal.
The players out there are capable of beating most teams in this division. Why are they only turning up every 5 games?
Tiverton on Tuesday is now a must win.

Agreed with that.
Very poor performance. Didn’t look like there was a game plan. Jacobs mistake early doors was a killer but the heads really dropped when Billy then missed the penalty.
I hope we don’t see Berchiche again. He doesn’t seem upto it.
Lots of injuries and knocks around. I have a bad feeling.
