A terrific 2nd half performance. George Moore came on at HT & inspired the team to victory.

The final will be against Hayes & Y or Brentford who play their semi in two weeks time.

Not many would have predicted the result at half time.
We were physically overmatched in midfield by a long way.
George and Sam coming on at the start of the second half completely changed the game.
The effort and attitude across the pitch in the second half was exceptional and needs to be on show every game.
Ben DLT looks a very good player and thankfully looks nothing like the hairy cornflake.
Enfields ground is a soulless, ugly place that is used for multiple sports.
That must have confused the referee in the second half when he allowed their #16 to play Gaelic football.
Onto Plymouth with a spring in our step..

Great to get to another final. Let hope we can give the fans something to cheer and win it.

Also we need to show that same sort of resilience and robustness in our league matches, starting now against Plymouth.
We are far to nice and sometimes must a be a dream to play against.
We don't have to be dirty or do nasty tackles, but just make it awkward for teams so they don't like playing against us .
Forwards should let the opposition defence know they are there. Get in their faces , be louder on the pitch and let the ref know when we think we are on the wrong end of a dodgy decision.

If we are to go down , go down fighting.

Great win last night. Earlsmead part-timer, Terry would be proud of you with that last post.

Looking at our next three games, I'd be happy with 4 points. A draw away at Plymouth would be useful. I don't expect us to get anything from Bracknell. They are flying at the moment and just beat Weston and will be setting their sights on pipping Weston to the title. Gosport however, we just have to win!

Yes I think he would have been Cappers!
I'm sure Terry's up there in "Boro heaven" saying the same thing.

In the majority of games I've managed to get to this season I'm sure the opposition have seen us as a soft touch and we've often been bullied out of it especially in midfield by some gobs#ite midfielder/defender who's always in the face of the referee.
As I've said doesn't have to be dirty or unfair but definitely more vocal and the younger players not letting themselves being bullied out of it.

We've got some good footballers throughout the team. They just need to show a bit more steel, as they clearly did in the second half last night.

Do that and we have a great chance to get out of it.

Plymouth lost at home last night against Met Police. Let’s hopewe can take advantage of a dip in their form!
