Met Police Predictions

Whilst there’s no hope, there is still a chance…
Met lost to Yate over the weekend and have nothing to play for (It’s probably more likely we stay up than they reach the playoffs). Met are not high scorers, only 11 goals in their last 12 and conceded 13 in that time. They played Thursday and Saturday so could be fatigued. Form would suggest a low scoring win for the hosts, however, I’m going for a 3-1 Met win.

Up to 4th bottom from bottom.
Even finishing there gives an outside chance of staying up if teams drop out due to financial problems..

At this stage we would need at least two but probably 3 for that to happen. The 4th bottom team in the Northern Premier already have over 40 points and Kings Langley in the Southern Central have 39 with 3 to play.
Yate won again today. If Hendon, who have a backlog now with 5 games to play in the next 11 days, only get 1 or 2 points from the first 4 and we beat POole, who are almost guaranteed a playoff place, it could get interesting. Still no hope but the chance remains…for now.

Good grief we won !
Why couldn't we do this against Hartley, Dorchester or Gosport ?
Now for the easy bit . Beat Poole and Yate and hope Hendon don't get 3 points out of a possible 15 .
