Good grief.

Not good, a chalk and cheese performance wise compared to the very solid one at Dorchester last week.

Didn't think we played that bad first half , Basingstoke just took their chances, but clearly deserved to be ahead.

Second half we were awful. One of the worst second half performances I've seen from a Boro team . We made it very easy for them and if we play like that Poole will hit double figures.

I didn't think tactically we were set up right .
I would have been much more defensive and hit them on the break .

Oh well. Hopefully we can bounce back and put it right next game , we certainly need a reaction.

Perhaps an attacking tactic came about from when we went for it v Walton and caused lots of problems.

Not the performance or result we needed. Oh how different this season could have been already had we beaten Totton!

Poole will be tough. We might have to wait until September for our first win!

Yes perhaps your right Harrowred.

But if it was me ( oh yes I do understand it's just my opinion as a fan and I haven't got a clue what goes on behind the scenes at club)
I would have kept it tighter and protected the defence more as we were away from home seeing we've been shipping goals like there's no tomorrow. If then we go behind a goal or two fair enough you might as well attack more and have a go , what have u got to lose.

The worrying thing is I don't think they are a particularly good team and looked nervous before three easy goals were handed to them on a plate.

We made it very easy for them to find space and yet another daft penalty given away .

Can't fault the spirit and effort of the team, but we were far to naive imo.
