Didcot away

With all the teams near the bottom now picking up points, tonight's game is a really important one.
A win will give us a massive boost, defeat will be costly.

Well it turned out to be neither.
I feel we do not play to our strengths. When we get the ball forward quickly we look a half decent side. The Passing inside our own was again dreadful.
We scored two very good goals, but within 5 minutes of each conceded a soft penalty.
We defend very deep & the central midfield players then receive the ball in deep positions & try worldie passes that do not come off.
We created more & looked a better shape in the last 15 mins with 2 up front & getting the ball over the halfway quicker.
If we played like this more , maybe, our defence could defend a bit higher up?
God only knows why when we have a goal kick the two centre halves stand next to the goal keeper.
It has achieved nothing all season, yet we continue to do it.
I , like many others, hate watching it. We travel go non-league games to watch teams have a proper go, not commit suicide in our own penalty area.

Our best play maker was on the bench for the second match on the trot. I would like to know why Stef Powell does not start every match. He would be one of the first players on my team sheet.
