Penalties

Didn't realize after reading Brian's report about the Bracknell game, Boro have conceded 10 penalties in 14 games so far this season.
I wonder how many needless points have been dropped there . . . 🙄

Plenty is the answer. While pussy footing around our own box,and the keeper doing Cryuff turns it's a recipe for disaster not to mention our health.Row Z is the answer.

Beaconsfield haven’t had one in 57 games according to their manager on Twitter….that’ll change no doubt on Saturday

Most of the penalties conceded have been as result of us trying to playing out from rediculas deep areas.
Although some penalties have been harsh, most could have been avoided.
Harry Seabrook is a really good centre back, but the 20 seconds leading to Bracknells first goal/penalty summed our crap style of play.
He had the ball in our area near the penalty spot, could easily have gone forward, but chose a diabolical pass to the keeper just wide of his right post. Under pressure the keeper declined the row z open & dribbled right Cross the face of the goal . Seabrook is now 10 from the left corner flag the keeper passes to him rather than go forward or safe. Seabrook first pass is cut out but goes straight back to him second effect also cut out. Bracknell have possession & when in the area the same player has to dive in to win a ball that he had at his feet 3 time in the previous 20 seconds.
It's not the players fault, it is the system we have played all season.
Horrible to watch on TV at Premier League level, aHorror show to watch h in the Southern League

Yep, it's bloody annoying. Penalty decisions like that change games (for Bracknell on Tuesday and for us against Winchester)
From our side of things we've got to cut it out.
Good luck to the team for today's match in the Trophy.
C'mon U Reds !
