Boro 3-3 Diddy

No posts so far on the game. For those that were there, what happened? To be 2-0 up but then end up 2-3 down at halftime is shocking! Against a team that has even less points than us! At least we managed to salvage a point. Did we get complacent at 2-0?
So with two teams at our level having already dropped out, what are we thinking that means in terms of reprieves? I'm thinking that the two teams with the best record that finish 19th out of the four divisions at our level will stay up. We're a bit unlucky as 22 points from 29 games (as poor as it is) would have us in much better positions in the three other divisions at our level. We can't complain too much though as we should have been relegated last season! One thing's for almost certain, the team that finishes 19th (4th bottom) in our division will have a better record than at least two of the other 19th placed teams in the three other leagues.
It would be very Houdini Harrow to get two reprieves in a row but even that looks like unlikely. If we beat Swindon though, there's a chance we could still stay up. Three games unbeaten and scoring goals.
Is there any hope or am I scraping the barrel?

Having seen the result I would say yes, being 2up on 25 you should be winning 100% & ending 3-3 is criminal at home.
Naive & green, would be the way to describe it on both players & management side….However,, let’s also put this into some sort of perspective.
These players are certainly giving it a go, the management are certainly trying & learning as they go.
That’s now 3 MATCHES unbeaten let’s not forget that, form this time of season is what defines most seasons…look at Hayes, at Christmas you’d be saying they’re going down….good run recently and it’s not beyond the realms of possibility in this league that they make top 10..
So form is important, and we have some, , so at present enjoy it and support the team, the louder we shout as fans the more the players will feel worthy, and the results will come.
No Gurteen yesterday, missed him me thinks.
As for reprieves I don’t see it this season.
Check out Non League Maps on Twitter & Pete Miller, they put together a spreadsheet updated weekly giving all the latest on Relegation & Promotions - see link below

Judging by the current positions I don’t see geographically how it would work.

It was a good game for the neutral. Basically Harrow did nothing to close the game down having taken a 2-0 lead. Our centre halves have been pretty good (comparatively) this season yet the Diddymen were able to convert three chances, two of them headers if I recall correctly within about a 20 minute period.
Harrow showed good application and, as you noted, eventually secured a point. There were chances to win it. Entertaining but no game management. There was encouragement though. With teams dropping out at our level we may yet survive.

Should have won. With Gurteen playing we probably would have done. Needed his height and dominance for set pieces again. A shame but if we win at Swindon who knows.
