£400 per week ?
It is rumoured Farnham Town are paying their players £400 /week !
Even if that's a wild estimate and, say, £250 /week is nearer the truth, I reckon someone is going to very disappointed
if they don't easily win the league this season.
Harrow Borough's best hope is probably a place in the playoffs, which should at least guarantee an interesting season.
An encouraging start has been made.

Yep it’s beyond belief.
I know one particular player who left a team in the southern league (who were doing very nicely and paying players good dollar) to sign for a couple of quid + £450 pw.
He is still there.
Sittingbourne showed Farnham’s weaknesses in the Cup & I’m sure many will try to follow their pattern.
expectation can weigh heavily on some at this level & I expect it won’t be as easy as some think.
They will of course get in others if needs must, but a strong core group & charisma coupled with great potential as our squad is and will continue to show may well surprise a few.
Can’t wait for Harrows next 4 matches. I think at this stage I’d take 2 wins out of those and then the league will start to take shape.
Play offs is what I’d expect if we too can encourage a few others to join our ranks.

Farnham appear to have funding way beyond any other club in this division. In the Isthmian Premier the same applys to Billericay & Dulwich, but neither have dominated that division.
There are a number of strong sides in our division, who will take points off if each other.
We have made a great start, others will want to knock us down now.
It should be interesting to see how the season pans out.
