At the start of every season in most leagues there are clubs thst start surprisingly well, or unexpectedly poorly.
Many pundits like to show caution by saying it takes 10 matches for a league table to take shape.

So, after 10 games Boro are 2nd. 7 wins, 2 draws & 1 defeat . The defeat against the only team above us.

We still haven't played Hayes & Yeading or Kingstonian yet, both clearly strong sides that will be challenging. Hayes have had a major resignation in their boardroom recently, while K's manager resigned this week. Another financial big hitter Rayners Lane have also suffered their manager resigning.
So will we be able to capitalise on the other challengers internal problems.
The games between now & the end of November are mostly against the clubs who will be looking at the play offs. A return of 16 or more points from the next 8 games will have the Boro showing as serious contenders , if that sequence includes a win win over Farnham things could get very exciting.

What ever happens the feel good factor is back at Earlsmead & I for one am very happy & enjoying it.

So match 11, & unfortunately can not make it.
I don’t think today needs to be a classic performance, just a few goals to make those around us shake a little.

5-0 should do nicely….hopefully those close slip up.
Think if we put a run of games together through November December the league will be ours.

Remember where you heard it 1st 🙏🏻👊🏻
