With Ben and Keagan resigning to take over at Hendon - who do we want to take over at Earlsmead?

No surprises then, other than perhaps:

”Hendon have moved to appoint Ben Bukowski as their new permanent manager after agreeing a deal with Harrow Borough.”

I wonder what that involved?

Gary Meakin. Should have been appointed originally. I believe he applied.
Ben seemed a nice guy and certainly had the old friendly feeling around the club again, with the players engaging with the fans, but I think we are in a false position. Out of the two main cups at the first attempt. Very very inconsistent in the league and some bizarre team selections and substitutions . I’m sure Hendon are in a similar financial position to us although they are currently a step above. Not the most enticing attraction. This episode may well have saved us from a decision further down the road. In hindsight it’s not a massive disaster, but we will probably see some of our better players follow Ben on the green brick road to Hendon. Its non league football, it happens. Come on you reds!!

Meakin is not at Northwood I believe?

Albert Adomah when he’s finished at Walsall?

Great that they wanted to stay on. May be motivated by their own personal ambitions to become a management duo(?)

If given the time, which I suspect they will be considering I don’t see the club rushing into anything, then they could definitely win the job full time if they get good results. If by seasons end we have slumped into the bottom half, then I suspect for the third off season in a row, we will be inviting applicants.

God knows who is out there at the moment. MCS who took caretaker charge of Hendon didn’t do very well. Believe he applied for our role previously but doubt he would be given it after that spell. Plus Ben and Keagan may be looking for an additional coach with Dennis and Nicolai not committing to following them across.

Michael Bryan previously applied? Jason Shaw interviewed last summer.
