Westfield away

Another defeat on the road !

Very disappointing especially as we had a full squad to select from.

Hardly a shot on goal until the first substitution was made. A bit like the last home match in the second half.

Presume Kegan Bloom not fit enough to start.

Just my opinion but it may be better to have the substituted man mentioned above initially on the bench

Meakin has left Northwood - yes. But he has left them in relegation trouble sadly.

Yep indeed. He had Rayners Lane in all kinds of trouble too dishing out dish too.

There are better coaches & managers out there for sure.
Thing is unless you have both a cash cow & an intelligent Gaffa you’re never compete for titles.
Nonleague has changed dramatically in the last few seasons I’ve noticed.
Stability in a division year on year with a top half finish is good enough.
Just wait for the right players to develop with a manager & take your chance then.

Keep with the Gaffa you’ve got, he’s well liked & a decent guy by all accounts.,,.in no time players know who’s gonna treat them well & they’ll arrive for them & play for him.

Give the guy time trust me it’ll work.
And get rid of the negative abuse from so called fans - I heard ygg by e stick a few weeks back and that destroys your fan base & club.

People like myself are looking to get into non league local teams but we’ll all soon disappear if we have to listen to that crap.
We come to enjoy relax & accept loses when they happen that’s football.
Gobby fans who think they know better drive away everyone except their cronnis. Fact I’ve seen it before.

Abuse ?

Where & when ?

Meakin got Rayners Lane promoted last season & left after 3 league games this season, which were all drawn. What trouble did he leave them in.

I stand corrected he did leave early than I realised but I’m retired & could have got a step5 side promotion paying players upwards of £250-300 a week.

Northwood are a well run club with an average budget & he’s bailed out before getting them potentially relegated.
Says a lot I feel.
But hey that’s non league😂😂

And just to be clear, we’ve taken 9 points from 12 league games under Quigley. I’m not sure he’s right for the job long term.

And joined Northwood in October, who were bottom at the time if I recall and had lost all matches up to that point.

Northwood were rock bottom when he went there.
They have averaged more than a point per game since. To me that is a very decent recovery.

Our management team took over a team in the top half & have got nowhere near a point per game..

I think Gary Meakin would be a good appointment for us. He has proven loyalty after a long spell managing Beaconsfield. He knows what's needed at this level to succeed and has plenty of experience at step 3. I'm sure he's got a lot of connections with players as well which will help when looking to build a team. On the face of it, it seems like a no brainer.
