Frustrating Season

Looking back at 2024/25 it's hard not to be frustrated. After a strong start it all just slipped away. Disappointed in Ben Bukowski for disappearing off to Hendon, taking our top goal scorer, and still failing to avoid relegation. Perhaps they’ll get a reprieve, but it’s very possible having ditched us after six months he’ll be managing them in the same league as us next season. Was it really worth it?

Total respect for the majority of the squad for sticking with us and Dennis Quigley for stepping up.

Looking forward, we’re at a level of football where average attendance is closely linked to final position so next season we should be finishing top half.

After a couple of decades of largely finishing in the bottom half of the league above it’d be nice to see us being a more competitive side. We big enough to be fighting for a playoff spot. Going by the second half of the season that might well need a change of manager though.
